Everything was so cold as she laid in the snow. She'd forgotten what had happened. What had happened? There was blood everywhere, but. . . The snow was so deep she could see the tops of trees poking out from the ground. There was pain in her side, but every thing was growing numb.
Suddenly there were soft crunching noises coming near. They were slow so hopfully it was a deer or something and not a wolf or some other preditor. For some reason she had an urge to cry out. Something tugged at her words pulling them out without her knowing she need to say them. "Please." She said to quietly. "H-help me. Please." A man apeared before her dressed in an old suit. Was this a joke? It was surly below five. Why was he dressed like that?
He stood as if he were towering over her like a skyscraper. . . strong. . .unmoving. All she could see was his eyes. They looked into her so deeply that they went strait threw and made her feel even colder. They seemed to be the things compelling her to speak.
"Please." She coughed and made an effort to reach out to him. "Save me. I'll do anything." The figure still lingered over her stairing. She closed her eyes exaused.
"Anything?" She heard the wisper like ash in the wind and then everything went dark.

The girl opened her eyes and was blinded by a light above her. Where was she? A hospital? The afterlife? Everything was blury, but at least it wasn't as cold anymore. She saw a figure move accross her vision. "What's going on?" She tried to ask, but she was to weak to speak.  Her eyes felt heavy and fell as darkness enclosed around her.
The girl lept up out of sleep gasping and sweating. "W-what's going on?!" She said and suprised her self at the sound of her own voice. "Where am I?"
"Look she's awake." Came a creepy snicker from the dark.
"We should get Michael." Came another slithering voice. Everything was pitch black, the voices seemed to come from every direction.  She curled up where ever she was and hopped they wouldn't come near her. This was definantly not a friendly place.

Suddenly, in the dark there were pefectly paced foot steps. The girl raised her head to see a glow coming from a stairway across a large room. She finally had a since of her suroundings. She was in some sort of dungon and was behind bars. A man in an old suit walked around the stone corner carrying a lanturn. He looked at her with emotionless eyes threw the bars. His hair was short, thick, and dark brown. It laid to one side on his head. "What is your name?"
"I. . . I'm not sure." Her heart sped at this relization.
"Do you know your name or not?" He sounded angery.
"No." She looked away from him. He hooked the lanturn on something high and unlocked the bars. She went to look up but he'd already grabbed her chin and force her to look at him.
"You'll call me sir when you are speaking to me." He tightened his grip and moved making her stand from her seated position. "Do you under stand me?"
"Yes. . .sir." Her eyes started to tear up.
"What were you doing out there?"
"The snow. . ." She thought for a moment. "I can't remember. . . sir."
"You don't have a name and you don't know why you're here. I suppose then no one will miss you if you are gone." He let go of her.
"Please! Don't kill me." She grabbed his sleeve as he turned away.
"You don't want to die?"
"I. . . I just don't want to be alone." She looked away from him. His gaze was so harsh. Suddenly, he pushed her against the stone wall and pushed up her shirt. "What are you doing?"
"Look." He moved aside and let the light shine on her revealed flesh. There was a huge shiny scar on her side. "It looks like you were stabbed and left out there to die."
"I don't know what happened."
"Do you know what I am?" He staired at her coldly.
"Wh. . . I don't know? Um. What do you mean? Your religion? Your race?"
"I'm a vampire." He pressed her to the wall again. She wanted to laugh at his words. She wanted it to be a joke. She wanted all of this to be funny. . . But she knew it wasn't. She knew she was going to die.
